These terms cover the Talmud Scroller, Scroll the Gurbani, Gita Scroller, Scroll the Lore, Stoic Scroller and Bible Swipe connectors served from this site.
Each connector gives a short daily reading with a plain-English explanation, curated plans, search, a lookup for any passage, and whole books to read a passage at a time. The explanations are written to help you read. They are not a religious ruling, and for guidance on practice you should ask a teacher or scholar of your own tradition.
Scripture text comes from Sefaria (Talmud), BaniDB by the Khalis Foundation (Gurbani), the public-domain gita dataset (Bhagavad Gita), the World English Bible, which is in the public domain, and for Greek and Norse myth and the Stoics the public-domain Greek, Latin and Old Norse editions and translations credited in each response (via the Perseus Digital Library, Wikisource and Project Gutenberg). Each source keeps its own licence, and responses name the source where it applies.
The connectors are free and read only. You may use them in assistants and apps, provided you do not misrepresent the text or the explanations and you keep the source credits.
On the Talmud, Gurbani, Gita and Bible connectors you can pay to dedicate a day's reading. Payment is handled by Stripe. Your dedication appears with the reading on the day after payment. Dedications with links or abusive content are held back. If something goes wrong, email us within 14 days and we will put it right or refund you.
